Candy Skulls for Los Dias de Los Muertos

Thursday October 20, 2005
Skull.jpg A popular and fun candy for the festive "Days of the Dead" in Mexico are these bright and colorful sugar candies. You can buy them from local vendors or make your own at home. They are made by pressing the candy mixture into skull molds or shaping the skulls by hand, which is a little more difficult, but doable. For all your candy skull needs, icluding the candy mix and molds, try the Reign Trading Company's wide selection of Candy Skull Supplies. If you use their molds it is suggested you also use there candy mixes for best results. If you decide to shape the candy yourself, without the use of molds, try this Candy Skull Recipe.
