Thursday November 24, 2005
mexwedcookies.jpg If you need a tried and true cookie recipe for your holiday festivities, look no further. These light and delicate little cookies are similar in texture to shortbread but with the added flavor of roasted pecans. They are also rolled in powdered sugar which adds to the sweetness. They look very elegant and are the perfect size for finger food. No holiday gathering should be without these wonderful Mexican Wedding Cakes. They are also known as Wedding Cakes, Pecan Balls, Russian Tea Cakes, Snowballs, Pecan Sandies, Swedish Tea Cakes and more.
