Monday November 28, 2005
Copper_Fleur_De_Lis_Cutter.JPG These anise and orange flavored cookies are crunchy and crispy and topped with a cinnamon sugar mixture. They are usually cut into a fleur-de-lis shape (shape pictured at right) but can also be found in other festive shapes or plain rounds. Use your own favorite holiday shapes or cookie press to make these delicious Biscochitos They are often served with wine, but also go well with Atole, a thick, porridge like drink made with masa.
