Chile en Nogada

Saturday April 22, 2006
chilenogada.jpg Pomegranates have recently made a comeback and it's little fruity seeds are used in many dishes. Chile en Nogada is not a recent dish, but it is topped with the tart fruit and here is even a festival in Puebla to celebrate Chile en nogada. The dish is peppery and creamy with a nutty taste. It commemorates the Mexican flag with a green chile, white sauce and topped with red pomegranate seeds. See the recipe here.
