One of my favorite things this time of year is making several Rosca de Reyes for the holidays. This bread is decorated with red and green candied fruit and also with sugar. A tiny figurine or toy is baked into the bread and whoever gets the piece of bread with the figurine in it is supposed to provide tamales for the next party. The figurine also represents the baby Jesus which is why it is a Christmas bread.
