How to Heat a Tortilla

Wednesday March 28, 2007
Most Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants serve up soft, chewy and steaming hot flour tortillas with their dishes. As you bite into the steaming hot tortilla you often wonder how do they get them so soft and pliable? The ones you buy from the store are often stiff and dry and if you heat them up in the microwave, they become rubbery. If fresh tortillas are what you crave, then of course you should make your own. But if your schedule doesn't allow you the luxury of making your own, you an still have delicious tortillas by heating the store-bought ones correctly. Read How to Heat Flour Tortillas and never endure a rubbery or dry tortilla again.
