Agua Fresca- Fresh Fruit Water

Wednesday April 4, 2007
During Semana Santa (Holy Week) which culminates with Easter Sunday, most of Mexico is on vacation, taking time for mass, observance and other religious activities. And you won't find any foil wrapped chocolate bunnies or brightly colored jelly beans at Easter time. Refreshing cool items are what you will find, like ice cream, popsicles and fresh flavored Agua Fresca in every imaginable flavor from mango to tamarind to pineapple. You can make it yourself and enjoy a little bit of Mexican tradition at home this Easter.
