Salsa Verde

Thursday June 12, 2008
Green Salsa Salsa is perfect for the summertime, although it can be spicy it also has a refreshing taste since it's made with fresh chiles and vegetables. This vibrant Salsa Verde is a tangy green salsa made with tomatillos, garlic, onion and lime and it's about a medium on the salsa heat scale for anyone sensitive to heat. You can even leave out the jalapeno for an even milder salsa. It's perfect for dipping, or for drizzling over a carnitas taco.
