Will you be making Sugar Skulls this year?
Wednesday September 10, 2008
Before we know it, the fall holidays begin and in parts of Mexico they will be preparing for Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Get a head start on the festivities by getting your supplies ready to make these fun Sugar Skulls. The skulls are Mexican folk art used to honor the deceased during the Day of the Dead holiday and they also make unique Halloween decorations. Children love to help make and decorate the skulls, so they make a great craft idea too.
