Pan Dulce

Wednesday September 24, 2008
Pan Dulce Does your child always find cookies in his or her lunch box? If so, try substituting their usual cookies with this soft and chewy Pan Dulce, a lightly sweet bread. You can find this treat at most Latino bakeries which are called "Panaderias," but why not make it yourself? It not only tastes great, but it is fun to make and will create a wonderful aroma throughout your home. You can even use your child's favorite color for the topping.

Pan Dulce was and still is my favorite with coffee, it reminds me of childhood days with my Dad.
