Sopes

Monday November 3, 2008
Beef Sopes These little snacks are a versatile, authentic Mexican dish. They are flat disc of masa pressed about 1/2 inch high, 3-4 inches across and then fried. There are many Sopes Toppings Ideas and you can also make up your own toppings. Here is a great recipe for the actual Sopes Dough that will be the base for your toppings. You can make them really tiny for a fun finger-food, or a little larger to use as a main dish. Any size you make them they are tasty and filling.
