Rompope- Mexican Egg-Nog

Friday December 19, 2008
This drink is very similar to eggnog but it has a distinctly nutty flavor. Pureed almonds add an extra dimension to this thick and rich holiday beverage. Egg yolks and milk are the base for this drink and a cinnamon stick and rum add even more flavor. Even though Rompope is served chilled, it will warm you up from the inside.
