Perfect for the Mexican Food Novice
This great gift pack comes with everything you need to make hot, fresh, corn tortillas whenever you want. It comes with a large bag of Maseca brand masa harina, a recipe book, a tortilla press, a comal and a tortilla warmer. The masa harina is made by Maseca which is what I personally use and get great results with. The tortilla press is nice and heavy so it won't slide around very much when you're pressing the tortillas and the small recipe book features some great recipes for basic tortillas all the way to the unusual. The comal is a great size, you can get 2-3 tortillas on it at once and it heats very evenly so the tortillas cook up to perfection. The only drawback to the kit is that the warmer is made of a light styrofoam and may not stand up to very much wear and tear. But overall the kit really is perfect for tortilla lovers.
