Seed and Dice a Tomato

Lay your knife flat (sharp side down) against the tomato outside the stem area where the tomato starts to curve downward. Slice downward in a "C" shape to cut the flesh away from the seeds.

• Place tomato upright
• Slice a "petal" off of tomato
• Cut petals until all flesh is removed
• Discard seeds and prep tomato for dicing
• Flatten a Petal
• Slice petal lengthwise
• Slice petal strips crosswise
• Dice remaining petals
